With 160 years of combined experience in infrastructure investment, the Alba team has a strong track record of investing in, and successfully managing, small and mid-market infrastructure projects and platforms across Europe. Working together for more than 15 years, Alba Infra Partners was formed by the team that ran the infrastructure projects business of 3i. Alba is well-placed to capitalise on attractive opportunities within the European infrastructure market.
Sustainability is an integral part of Alba’s investment thesis and is considered throughout the investment lifecycle, from robust ESG analysis of target assets, through to active management of ESG risks and opportunities in the value creation process.

The team combines a disciplined origination approach and a highly selective investment process to deliver upper-percentile performance. Value is created through a strong asset management platform and a culture of high-quality service. A significant portion of value creation stems from extra-financial performance. At Alba, ESG analysis of targets is based on a robust and proven process. Active management of ESG risks and opportunities is essential to our value creation process and to maintaining our reputation as a responsible investor.
